Education in Iberia Parish schools is financed by local, state and federal funds.  Total revenues from all funding sources for 2020-2021 are $159,504,000. 

The local funds that support public schools in Iberia Parish are provided by sales taxes and property taxes.  Funds for the general operation of schools come from a 2.0 percent sales tax and 10.55 mills of property tax.  Additionally, the Bond Retirement Millage is 25.00 for the 2022 tax roll.  Finally, tax revenues also help provide for salaries and all other items assigned to the General Fund.
